 Kids'Turn

Changing family relationships in positive ways

What is Kids' Turn?

Kids’ Turn empowers children to express their feelings and thoughts, learn that their parents’ separation is not their fault, as well as new ways to understand their family situation.

Parents who attend our programs gain insight about how their words and behaviors impact their children and learn new skills and strategies to improve communication and interactions for the whole family.

Is Kids' Turn Right for you?

  • Any parent / caregiver going through separation or divorce and concerned with the well-being of their children.

  • Any parent / caregiver going through separation or divorce who wants new life skills to manage their new life circumstance.

  • Any parent / caregiver going through separation or divorce who want to successfully co-parent with reduced conflict.

  • Any foster parent, grandparent, stepparent or adult caregiver who wants to help a child ease through a parent’s / caregiver’s separation of divorce

Our Goals Are To....

Help children cope with parental separation.

Help children to understand and cope with the loss, anger,

and fear that often accompany familial separation.

Help family members support their children.

Help caregivers learn how to support their children,

prevent at-risk behavior and teach the skills needed

to understand the child’s perspective.

Demystify and de-stigmatize the separation process.

Half of all U.S. marriages end in divorce or separation.

Kids’ Turn promotes a healthy perspective and helps families

understand that they are not alone.
